Christopher K. Norton graduated from Haverford College in Haverford, Pennsylvania, where he served as a resident assistant and captain of the lacrosse team. After earning his bachelor of arts in history and economics, Christopher K. Norton embarked on a career in investment finance. He has a particular interest in the ways that business markets intersect with daily life.
For 18 years, Mr. Norton served as a partner with the New York City offices of Goldman Sachs, overseeing local financial product development teams and teams in Europe and Asia. His areas of expertise ranged from corporate bond products to fixed-income trading.
Mr. Norton also has an 18-year history of senior leadership with the nonprofit Washington Center for Internships and Academic Seminars (TWC). He became a TWC board of trustees member in 2003 and became the TWC’s third president in 2016. He announced his retirement and stepped down as president in 2021.
